Virtual Coaching Academy

The Virtual Coaching Academy
Advance your career. Elevate your coaching. Empower new teachers.

The Virtual Coaching Academy is a new initiative of the ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® College of Education designed to strengthen support for early career teachers while advancing the professional growth of experienced educators.
Participants serve as mentor teachers for early career educators—with priority given to those mentoring conditionally licensed teachers enrolled in ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ®licensure programs. Through collaborative learning, guided practice, and reflective coaching, mentors will earn 2 MSDE Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits while building advanced coaching skills that create real impact in schools.
A distinctive feature of the Academy is the integration of video-based observations. Participants will supplement their onsite mentoring with video reflections and learn how to leverage technology to provide timely, data-driven coaching that empowers new teachers to thrive.
Who Should Participate?

Experienced PK–12 educators who are currently mentoring an early career teacher (between 1- 5 years)

Educators seeking to grow their professional expertise and advance their careers through effective coaching
